We were delighted that three speakers from the
Bedford Philatelic society were able to show their
collections starting with Alistair Kinnon showing
material from StLucia.
The second half stated with Nick Guy who showed us
material from the second World war and the Chaos
that resulted for the post office both in Britain
and in Africa
To Conclude Richard hart showed Stamps and covers
relating to Victorian Philanthropists including
Humboldt who though his voyages of discovery
unearthed many new earthly wonders.
April 17th
Former member and President of the Milton Keynes
Philatelic Society, Pauline Avery, Visited us this
evening with her Thematic display of Penguins.
17th July
The AGM and Trophy Presentations were followed
by a cheese and wine buffet. The photo shows John
Hossack receiving the trophy.
20th November
John Spencer displayed a collection he called
"Remembrance", consisting of stamps and ephemera
relating to the Victoria Cross
18th December
This was the Christmas Social held at the
Linslade Community Hall, to which members of
Aylesbury and Milton Keynes P.S. were invited and
are shown in the photo.
